Hi C9 Members + Friends!

I'm still energized from our C9 Summer Social at CHS Field last month! You'll find some great photos from the event below—what a perfect way to celebrate summer with our C9 Community.

Our regular podcast interviews were on a summer break, but we’re back with a new episode in our regular interview format and will continue with our twice-monthly schedule. I genuinely love hosting The Power of Nine Podcast because I always discover something unexpected about our guests!

Coming up this month, we have our next C9 Well event, “Saboteur to Sage: Mastering Your Mindset,” on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. This event is exclusive to C9 Members and their guests, and we're close to selling out! I'm so excited to dive into the Positive Intelligence framework later this month.

Then we’ll be embracing autumn at our C9 Community Appreciation event on Saturday, October 11, 2025. This one is only for the C9 Community, and the email invitation is coming your way this week. For our November “Preparing for 2026” event, Event Partner and Supporter spots are nearly sold out. Details are below if you're interested.

The C9 Fall Pop-Up Store will be launching soon–in early October–so you’ll be able to get some cozy C9 Gear just in time for the holidays. Stay tuned for more details.

Fall is a wonderful time of year to get invested in the C9 Community. I don’t know about you, but I’m always inspired to refocus, forge new connections, nurture existing relationships, and seek out opportunities that will make me a better leader. We have a few openings in current groups and are launching a new Expanding Leaders group in November. Let’s connect and find the perfect fit for you!

On September 24, 2025, from 4:40 to 6:30 PM at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Scouts Talent and corporate sponsors will host a Guinness World Records event to set the record for the Longest Line of Calculators. Are you ready for the Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFMLA)? Starting in 2026, this new law will impact every employer in the state, but TriNet is here to help you get ahead of it. Member Abby Johnson announced that TriNet’s PFMLA Panel Discussion will be held on September 25, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM at the iconic O'Shaughnessy Distilling Co. in Minneapolis. Member Ross Hedlund announced that Traditional Commercial Real Estate (TCRE) hired a new Project Manager, Joe Sullivan, to expanded its services. TCRE now offers both brokerage and project management for companies with space needs. Congrats on the business expansion, TCRE! Learn more

September C9 Well Event - Positive Intelligence

Saboteur to Sage: Mastering Your Mindset
Tuesday, September 23, 2025
8:30 to 11:00 AM
Location: Boulay in Eden Prairie

This 90-minute wellness-focused session introduces the Positive Intelligence framework to help participants identify and understand the mental patterns that sabotage performance and fulfillment. Blending the Saboteur self-assessment with co-active learning, participants will uncover the internal thought habits that limit growth.

Using Positive Intelligence tools and strategies, the session guides leaders through a powerful shift from the inner Saboteur that derails us to the inner Sage that empowers us, fostering healthier, more effective leadership.

Join us for a day of community connection and autumn fun at LuceLine Orchard in Watertown!

This is a casual event to bring the entire C9 Community together for a festive fall day at the orchard. All are welcome—from solo adventurers to families of every size! Dogs are welcome too!

August C9 SPARK Event Recap

What an incredible night at our C9 Summer Social at CHS Field! ⚾ On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, C9ers came together at the Treasure Island Terrace for meaningful relationship building and to enjoy some St. Paul Saints baseball.

It was our 4th year hosting this event, and the energy was absolutely electric! There's nothing quite like spending a beautiful summer evening in the company of exceptional people.

We're so grateful to everyone who joined us. Watching our Members deepen existing friendships and create fresh connections throughout our C9 Community fills our hearts! ❤️ What a fun night!

C9 Gives Foundation Volunteer Opportunity: JA BizTown

Want to make an impact on the next generation of business leaders and our ecosystem in just one day?

The C9 Gives Foundation is looking for 20 volunteers to join us at JA BizTown on October 29, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at 1745 University Ave W, St. Paul, MN 55104.

You’ll help middle school students (ages 10–13) take on the challenge of running a simulated city, managing businesses, making financial decisions, and learning real-world skills in a hands-on environment. No teaching experience needed; training and support are provided by Junior Achievement USA staff.

This is an incredible opportunity to give back, share your insights, and help shape the next generation of leaders.
